Works for me Wednesday---Storage in the Laundry Room

My family has way too much STUFF!! I am always on the look out for better ways to store our stuff. Recently, I bought a couple of 4 foot long Closet Maid Utility Shelves. I put them up on the wall in my laundry room. My original plan was to just use them for hanging wet clothes that I didn't want to put in the dryer. I am doing that, but I've also found that it is a GREAT place to hang things that I'm thinking about putting away until next season. Currently all the kids winter coats & snow pants are hanging there...we live in Tennessee & it seems like winter should be long gone, but if I dare put that stuff away before the first of April we will get another snowfall. By hanging the almost out of season stuff in the laundry room, it gets it out of the kids bedrooms and it makes it easy for me to throw it into a Rubbermaid tote when I am SURE that its season has passed.

This is a storage solution that has worked for me even better than I expected it to!!! To see what's working for everyone else visit We are THAT family.

Great idea! It never fails when I put away seasonal clothing that I end up dragging it out again. LOL!

I love these shelves. They're in my laundryroom too. I actually need some more of them whenever Tim is up to putting them up for me. :-)

That is good idea. I use the shelves in my laundry room to hang clothes to dry like you said. You have a good idea to add almost out of season clothes to it.
