October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. According to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in woman, after lung cancer. I have several online friends who have battled breast cancer as well as friends who have lost relatives to this devastating disease. It is the mission of The Breast Cancer Research Foundation to find a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime!!!

CELEBRATE SURVIVORS AND SUPPORT GIRLFRIENDS EVERYWHERE WITH THE KN PINK RIBBON SIGNATURE COLLECTION™ for 2009.

KN Karen Neuburger® lifestyle brand and The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® (BCRF) are partnering during the month of October 2009. KN will host “Pink Parties” at over 300 Dillards store locations where guests will get the chance to shop for a cause. For each purchase of KN Karen Neuburger pajamas during the “Pink Parties,” KN will donate 30 minutes of research to BCRF. The goal is to sponsor a month of breast cancer research to aid in the development of lifesaving treatments and an eventual cure for breast cancer. In addition, to help KN reach the goal of sponsoring a month of research, donations will also be accepted through their Time for Research page. A twenty five dollar donation funds one half hour of Breast Cancer Research.
