I started blogging in September 2008 because a lot of my friends were doing it . I've been making Mom friends online in forum communities for years and really enjoyed that, but blogging is even more fulfilling. I get to share my ideas & opinions, I get to talk about my family as much or as little as I want & on top of it all I can win lots of FREE stuff.I think the Blog Carnival is my favorite part about blogging. Every day of the week there is a theme out there somewhere & unlike a message board community, you can participate as often or as infrequently as you want & nobody gets bent out of shape. I LOVE the fact that I don't have to ask permission to participate in Blog carnivals being run by people I've never met.....it's a wonderful opportunity to meet new people & it keeps fresh ideas flowing.
