Things I LOVE Thursday...Netflix

I'm probably really late getting on this band wagon, but I've recently discovered NetFlix and I am really loving it!

We have done the video by mail routine before with both NetFlix and Blockbuster, I wasn't impressed. We always had trouble remembering to get the movies back in the mail & ended up paying way too much for the number of movies we were actually watching. We still haven't improved much in that area, but since Netflix has movies online that you can just watch directly on your computer, we are definitely getting our money's worth this time.

Last week Hubby & I were on a Dr Who kick, we watched about 6 seasons worth of shows dating back as far as the mid 70's. They are a bit cheesy, but it is a show that we both REALLY like. This week we watched most of season 7 of Magnum PI....I haven't even thought about that show in years, but it was good! We've also watched a lot of older movies that we didn't see when they first came out, some of them were good, others very forgettable and that is the other thing I REALLY like. If a movie turns out to be a dud we can simply turn it off, we aren't out any money & we can choose another! They have kids stuff too, which has cut down greatly on the "I'm bored" whining during our recent explosion of wet weather.
