I'm now approving comments because of SPAM

I've recently started to get a LOT of random SPAM. I'm hoping it is last minute marketing for Christmas, so I've turned on comment approval to eliminate it showing up here.

I do this as well and no one seems to mind. I think it's alot better than making people fuss with typing a code for every comment.
